Rosati-Kain High School utilizes Google Apps to enable students to share data and create documents and presentations in a collaborative, online environment.
Each R-K Student is given her own Rosati-Kain email to use throughout her time at R-K. With an integrated e-mail system powered by Gmail, students will also have access to their R-K e-mail anywhere at anytime.
Our campus is covered by a wireless network that provides connection to student laptops and printers as well as a gateway to systems beyond our location in the Central West End. The gateway provides access to cloud-based storage, e-mail, Skyward (our Student Management System), Moodle and Atomic Learning (Learning Management Systems) as well as data bases for research with which we have contracts through the Rosati-Kain Learning Commons. All of these resources are also available to the student anywhere there is an internet connection.
Students utilize our computer labs and tablets dedicated to the physics and chemistry labs. R-K also has its own Broadcast Suite where students produce announcements three mornings a week during the school year.
Each student receives an IPad at the start of each school year, which is included in the price of tuition. Ipads are then turned in at the end of each school year.
