Admissions Criteria: We take a holistic approach to the admissions process. We want Rosati-Kain Academy to be a good fit for both the student and the community. In general, the following factors are considered in the admissions process:

• Academic performance in 6th-8th grades 

• Performance on standardized test scores

• Attendance records

• Character and discipline records

• The potential for and a commitment to contributing positively to the RKA community

• Family interview

• Entrance exam

Admissions Process: Applications for the 2025-2026 school year open up on October 1, 2024. 

Complete the Application form by November 12, 2024. The application includes five short answer questions for the student to showcase their best writing. 

The Transcript Request Form is part of the portal. Have transcripts and academic records from the previous three years sent to Rosati-Kain Academy. Your current school will be asked to provide:

• Current grade report
• Final transcript from the previous school year
• Standardized testing results from the previous school years (if available)
• Attendance Records from both the previous school year and current school year
• Discipline Records from both the previous school year and current school year, Individual educational program results (if applicable)

The Financial Aid Application is also part of the portal. If you would like to apply for aid, the financial aid application must be completed alongside the Admissions application.

Once these steps have been completed, your family will need to schedule an interview and entrance exam appointment. Then, your child's file will be considered ready for review. 

Admission letters are sent on January 31, 2025.

Spring 2025 Dates for the Class of 2029:

• Kougar Celebration for the Class of 2029 - Friday, February 7, 2025 from 5-7 PM

• Placement Tests for World Language and Math - TBD

• Class of 2029 Movie @ Chase Park Plaza (or other activity) in April

• Class of 2029 Ice Cream Social in June 

• Attend RKA Summer Camps in June and July

• Complete Summer Reading 

• Order uniforms
