We are seeking caring, dependable, and mission-driven individuals to serve as Substitute Teachers who will support student learning and maintain the strong academic and community culture of Rosati-Kain when regular faculty members are absent.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Substitute Teacher plays an important role in ensuring continuity of learning and providing a positive classroom experience for students. Substitute Teachers are expected to create a respectful, structured, and engaging learning environment while following lesson plans provided by faculty members and supporting the mission and values of Rosati-Kain Academy.
This position is ideal for educators, retired teachers, graduate students, professionals, parents, alumnae, and community members who enjoy working with high school students and contributing to a vibrant school community.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and support students in assigned classrooms following teacher lesson plans
Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
Take attendance and communicate classroom concerns appropriately
Follow school procedures, policies, and expectations
Support students academically while encouraging responsibility and engagement
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Serve as a positive adult presence who reflects Rosati-Kain’s mission and values
Communicate important classroom information with the classroom teacher and administration

Missouri substitute teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification

RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate students who apply to join the team and, after consultation with the Athletic Director, select team members.
Provide exceptional coaching services to your team, ensuring player development, team building, and success on and off the field.
Adhere to all Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) rules and regulations, and ensure your team does as well.
Follow all policies established by the Athletic Director and School President.
Maintain all school-provided equipment and manage your own as needed.
Keep the Athletic Director informed of any issues or concerns, ensuring transparency and timely communication.
Distribute and collect uniforms in a timely manner before and after the season.
Attend all meetings scheduled by the Athletic Director and participate in school events such as Open Houses, recruitment events, and team banquets.
Develop and coordinate practice schedules and plans, and oversee all program activities.
Ensure full participation in all team competitions throughout the season.
Evaluate any assistant coaches at the end of the season.
Submit all team statistics and required paperwork on time.
Track attendance and communicate athletes that will receive credit at the end of the season.
Coordinate transportation to games and competitions.

Rosati-Kain Academy, a Catholic, college-preparatory high school for young women in St. Louis, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Volleyball Coach for the 2025-2026 season. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive and mission-driven athletic environment. A four-year degree is preferred, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and experience coaching high school athletes. POSITION SUMMARY
The Annual Giving Manager reports to the President and serves as a member of the development team. This position plans and manages all aspects of the Annual Giving program as well as being responsible for maintaining donor and alumnae data integrity within the donor database. We offer a strong compensation package including but not limited to:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will work closely with the President, Major Gifts officer and other members of the development team to identify, cultivate, solicit and recognize individual donors, design and execute annual appeals and meet annual giving budget goals.
Responsibilities will include:
• Design, implement, and grow RKA’s annual giving program in consultation with the President
• Inform, engage, connect, and solicit current, lapsed, and prospective donors
Engage RKA alumnae
• Maintain and cultivate individual donor records in the donor database
• Support the Major Gifts Officer and President through data mining and segmentation
• Coordinate stewardship efforts of current donors to retain and encourage repeat and increased giving year to year
• Work with marketing team to create and execute donor solicitations
• Lead RKA’s 24 hours of giving campaign
• Lead RKA’s annual City Lights Auction and Gala with support from event coordinator and Major Gifts officer
• Work with event coordinator to plan donor events
• Solicit individual prospects and/or recommend prospects to other members of the team for solicitation at other appropriate gift levels
• Support other departmental responsibilities connected to; prospect research, event coordination, donor communications, and any other development-related duties as assigned by the President
QUALIFICATIONS
Three to five years of fundraising experience in annual giving/other fundraising campaigns and appeals, with an emphasis in individual/annual solicitation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive) and other relevant database and office software.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including drafting professional correspondence and meeting minutes.
Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills to manage a high volume of work efficiently.
Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and exercise sound judgment.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and interact professionally with Board members, staff, and external stakeholders.
Experience in event and project management in a professional environment.
Strong communication skills with ability and comfort speaking in small and large groups.
Ability to work some nights and weekends, as needed for events and deadlines.
Knowledge of online fundraising tools.
