Welcome to the Rosati-Kain Student Support Services Department! Within these pages, our goal is to give you an overview of our services. Please feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.
Our department consists of two full-time certified School Guidance Counselors. We are what is referred to as ‘generalists’. We are trained and experienced in college guidance, personal and social issues as it impacts the school day, and in developing and administering individualized learning profiles for diagnosed needs. Our office maintains an updated list of outside referrals if needed.
Students are assigned one counselor for all four years for personal, social, academic and college counseling. Throughout each school year, the counselors collaboratively conduct classroom lessons, grade level presentations, and school wide assemblies on various current topics. Our department hosts many college admissions representatives during the school day, and provides online and print resources for college and scholarship search and application.
