Admissions Timeline

Catholic Grade School Students

Students enrolled in Catholic grade schools will receive an Archdiocesan application from their schools in October.  Students must complete their application and submit it to their grade school principal by the date indicated on the application.  Grade school principals then submit all applications to Rosati-Kain.  After review by Rosati-Kain’s Admissions committee, applicants meeting Rosati-Kain’s criteria will be notified by letter that their application and supplemental information has been received.  If necessary information has not been received or if more discussion regarding an application is warranted, we will contact you for a personal interview.  This year, letters of determination will be mailed on January 28, 2022.

Public School/Home School Students

Students who attend public school, are homeschooled, or are located in Illinois should contact Rosati-Kain. Please complete the online information form on the Application and More page. When received, Rosati-Kain will reach out to you directly for school records.  After review by Rosati-Kain’s Admission’s committee, applicants meeting Rosati-Kain’s criteria will be notified by letter that their application and supplemental information has been received.  If necessary information has not been received or if more discussion regarding an application is warranted, we will contact you for a personal interview.  Students and their families will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance in a timely manner based on the order in which applications have been received. Please note, the first round of acceptance letters go out on January 28, 2022. Applications are still considered after this date.
