Sr. Joan Andert, SSND | President Emeritus
Dear Friends and Visitors,
Through a vibrant Catholic education, we cultivate the individuality, faith, talent, and aspirations of young women who will lead and serve the world.
Welcome to the virtual community of Rosati-Kain High School! On behalf of our entire school community, I invite you to learn more about our mission, our program, our heritage and our future.
In 1911 the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and the School Sisters of Notre Dame partnered with the Archdiocese of St. Louis to expand educational opportunities for young women throughout Saint Louis. Having recently celebrated our centennial, Rosati-Kain High School is building our future. I invite you to learn more about our goals and plans for extending our mission for the next generation of young women.
Every member of our school community brings unique God-given gifts, talents, aspirations and dreams. From all parts of metropolitan Saint Louis, we gather in the Central West End to challenge and support each other. Classroom activities, retreat and prayer activities, athletics, the arts, and leadership experiences all take place in a context of deep respect for the individual person, her hopes and her contributions to the whole. Reaching out to the larger community through service and personal presence completes the dynamic balance that fosters growth into confident persons who are ready to assume responsibility in the world community as women of faith, leadership and service.
Rosati-Kain High School plays a unique role in the community of Catholic schools. Our heritage, our location, and our eclectic student body all build a vibrant experience of academic and spiritual formation that is truly Alive In Christ!
