Naviance is a college and career readiness computer program that the Rosati-Kain Guidance Department utilizes in order to connect academic achievement to post-secondary goals. It enables students to find college and career pathways that are right for them by setting personal goals, exploring career options based on skills, interests and personalities and search for colleges. It enables students, their parents and the counselors to collaborate on the comprehensive college search process. When it is time to apply to college, counselors and teachers may upload letters of recommendation to the student’s designated (and protected) page of the system, as well as the student’s transcript for electronic submission to prospective colleges. This information is only seen by the Guidance Department.
The communication portal between counselors and students and her parents is called ‘Family Connection.’ Registered students and parents may access the program via Family Connection here:
